Conditions of hire for the Chase/Stockdale Lounge 

1. Bookings only confirmed if deposit is received within one week of provisional booking 

2. Bookings for the Stockdale/Chase Lounge will only be accepted if the hire form is fully completed ,and returned with the full hire fee (Including £100.00 deposit) .

3. Hall hire fee due within one month before event.

4. In the event of the function being cancelled by the hirer, the club will retain the deposit if within 3 months. 

5. We do not hire to birthday parties age between 11 years-20 years of age. This includes family parties celebrating these events. 

6. The hirer is responsible for any damage or losses on the night. The Club Manager is responsible for authorising the refund of the deposit after the event. subject to them being satisfied that the room was left in good order, and that all equipment was still in-place and not damaged, the deposit will be refunded in full. 

7. Any personal information will not be forwarded to third party companies or used for marketing. Bank details supplied for deposit return will be securely kept and then destroyed once deposit has been returned.  

8. The Club Supervisor is totally in-charge of the building and all matters should be addressed to the Supervisor on the night. 

9. All drinks consumed on the premises must be purchased from the club. This includes soft drinks for both adult and children’s parties 

10. Personal table wine and champagne only for authorised weddings, with a corkage charge of £4.50 per bottle. 

11. All catering is to be arranged by the organiser direct with the Club Caterers for Stockdale hire on Sat evenings .club caterers must be used. Outside food may be brought into the chase lounge, however we cannot offer food preparation facilities or chilling facilities .All outside food must be cleared away at the end of the event. 

12. The Chase Lounge holds a maximum of 100 persons. (50 seats approximately). 

13. The Stockdale holds a maximum of 180 persons. (100 seats approximately).

14. The hirer is responsible for the behaviour of all guests attending the function and must remain on-site until all guests have left the building. 

15. The hirer is responsible for ensuring that FIRE EXITS are kept clear at all times, no equipment or other obstruction should be placed as to hinder egress from the building. 

16. All equipment and property not belonging to the club must be removed from the building at the end of the function. 

17. Under no circumstances shall drawing pins, cellotape, or any other material be used that could damage any surfaces be used. blue or white tack is acceptable  

18. No smoke machines are permitted at any function 

19. The room may be hired until midnight if authorised by the Club Manager  

20. The bar will be open from 7 pm until 12 am (Sunday 7 pm until 10.30 pm) for the normal evening hall hire fee.

21. Access to the room will be from 6 pm, all extra hours will be charged as follows. 

22. Last orders will be called 10 minutes before closing time. 

  • The bar will close at the agreed closing time. 

  • All drinks to be consumed by 20 minutes after closing time. 

  • Entertainment to finish at the agreed closing time and equipment removed quickly. 

  • The room must be vacated 30 minutes after the agreed closing time. 

23. The use of fireworks and BBQs are strictly prohibited

24. No dogs are animals may attend functions with the exception of assisitance dogs.  

23. If the hirer does not clear the hall by the agreed time, extra staff wages will be charged to the hirer.
